We use the information you provide primarily for the provision of first aid training for you and for related purposes including:

Our use of that information is subject to your instructions, data protection law and our duty of confidentiality. This information will be held in paper and/or electronic form. Your data is held within the EU in encrypted/secure files. We shall retain your information for time periods as set out by our regulator, after which point any paper or electronic information retained by us will be destroyed unless you have given us express consent to retain this information for a longer period of time.

Please note that our work for you may require us to pass on such information to third parties such awarding bodies (for qualification courses only) or venues and organisations who have organised the class or course you have attended. We may also give such information to others who perform services for us, such as typing, photocopying or IT support. Our practice may be audited or checked by our accountants or our regulator, or by other organisations. All such third parties are required to maintain confidentiality in relation to your data.

You have a right of access under data protection law to the personal data that we hold about you but subject to some exceptions. If you would like to obtain this data please contact the Data Protection Officer in writing stating what data you require. It would be helpful if you could include the words 'Data Protection Act' or 'Subject Access Request' in the heading of your letter. We seek to keep that personal data correct and up to date. You should let us know if you believe the information we hold about you needs to be corrected or updated.
